Most software packages available on Euler are managed via Environment Modules. This page describes the software available, how to access it, and gives a brief overview for how to use the module command.

Additional free software packages can be installed upon request. Commercial packages will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Cray Chapel 1.4.0 chapel/$version
Boost 1.41.0, 1.51.0, 1.52.0 boost/$version 1.41.0 is available by default, without needing to load any modules.
Eclipse 3.7, 4.2.1 eclipse/$version Will be installed into your home directory upon first load.
GNU Compiler Collection 4.4.6, 4.6.3, 4.7.0, 4.8.0 g cc/$version 4.4.6 is available by default, provided by the vendor.
